First call of the season at the Victorian seaside resort of Penarth this evening. She had started her day at Avonmouth and sailed light to Lydney and Sharpness to pick up passengers before heading to Clevedon. She then sailed down channel to Ilfracombe.

Seen outbound from Penarth Marina is my friends boat Soleil d'Or. Built in 1956 by Frank Curtis and Pape Bros of Looe, Cornwall she was built for the Dorrien Smith family, owners of Tresco in the Isles of Scilly for use as a tender.
She is on the National Historic Ships register.
